I had 10 lessons previously with another instructor and was extremely nervous on the road as a result of having a road traffic accident while on lesson. I changed instructors to Shamus Khan after being recomended and passed first time with ZERO FAULTS. He gave me complete on the roads from the first to the final lesson Somthing I had not experienced before. I feel Shamus has an alternate way of teaching which allows you to learn independently in a way which is comfortable and understandable to the individual, not just according to “the book”. Goin to miss my lessons with him. Couldn’t RECOMMEND Shamus and Strive2drive academy enough!!!

Strive to drive is an amazinggg company, my instructor Shamus is the best! He’s so funny and down to earth and not strict at all as some instructors can be, there’s no pressure to do things you’re not ready to do and you can learn at your own pace when you’re ready. I’ve been made to feel so welcome and safe from day one, although I was so scared to be learning to drive, Shamus made me feel so comfortable. It made driving so much more fun, knowing I could have a laugh with him. He also has the patience of a saint, I don’t know how he put up with me sometimes, but he never once made me feel bad about me making any driving mistakes. Instead he helped me to become a better and safe driver. I was so nervous when it came to the test, but he gave me so much encouragement and motivation, and he went above and beyond to get me through it. I honestly couldn’t have done it without him!

Shamus helped me gain the confidence to pass my driving test with only 2 minors, deffo recommend! Fab instructor

Definitely recommend Strive2Drive for your driving lessons if you are a 1st time driver or had lessons with other instructors but haven’t enjoyed it Strive2Drive are great they build your confidence and don’t just get you ready for the test they get you ready to be a driver on your own I can’t rate them highly enough I passed my test 1st time thanks to Shamus he was a quality instructor builds your confidence and teachers you great even when you make mistakes he’s patient with you he discusses where you went wrong and how to help you moving forward thank you for everything Strive2Drive I love being a driver Now

Could not thank strive2drive academy enough! Although I am heavily pregnant with emotions flying high and getting bigger everyday, I said to shamus my instructor I would love to be passed before my baby comes. Eventhough I thought I may as well be dreaming as it was only a few weeks till due date, he said OK we will do it and he never doubted me once! To say that I’d taken my test 3 times 3 years ago with a different instructor and location, my confidence was shot, I thought it would never happen for me. Strive to drive changed all that and have given me the pleasure of making my children proud and able to make the best memories at the sea side. Again, I cannot thank you enough 👍
